    • Pro Tip: The hat can also be worn completely ropeless for a clean, minimal look.

  3. Add Customization (Optional) Want to brand it?

Hat great, patch ehh...

The hat itself is fantastic. Just make sure if you're getting a rubberized patch you specify whether you want the matte Sheen or you want it in a semi-gloss Sheen. When I got my hat I wasn't given the option and ended up getting a semi-gloss Sheen style patch. They are two different patches and I believe the matte cost more to make. They are not transparent about this issue.

To provide a bit of context for anyone reading: the product you selected was our UV Dimensional Stack (UVDS) patch, which is an entirely different process than traditional molded PVC rubber. Because of the UV curing process, these patches naturally have a slight sheen. While we always allow our customers to request custom modifications (like a matte top-coat) in the order notes - just as you successfully did for your custom size and shape dimensions - we completely understand how relying on the notes section for finishes could easily be overlooked.

We are actually taking your feedback to heart. Because of this review, we are officially adding a 'Matte vs. Gloss' finish dropdown option directly to the UVDS product page to make the choice front-and-center for everyone.
